LET YOUR LIGHT SHINE BEFORE MEN

AND NOW FOR THE REST....OF THE REST OF THE STORY. Can you believe it? Christmas is now behind us and now we are looking square in the eye of a new year...2009. Doesn't have a very good ring to it. Well to me anyway. Hey, DUCK, here comes Valentines.

As I stated in my last post, this will be a follow up to the Christmas message titled "And Now for the Rest of the Story." Let us pray. Dear Heavenly Father, Thank You so much for a most glorious Christmas. A most wonderful celebration with family and friends over the Day that Love was born in the earth. Now as we adventure into a new year, would You please guide and direct our steps for the expansion of Your Kingdom. Help us to pray. Help us to love. Help us to have a great joyful expectation of Your coming. Oh Hail King Jesus. Oh God, may we serve You this year with a most contrite spirit. Serve others with the same. And would You please help us to receive service from others. Thank You for loving us so much. You are most Wonderful....AMEN. Now, lets get to it.

(John 13:1-9;12-17) "It was just before the Passover Feast. Jesus knew that the time had come for Him to leave this world and go to the Father. Having loved His own who were in the world, He now showed them the FULL extent of His love."

"The evening meal was being served, and the devil had already prompted Judas Iscariot, son of Simon, to betray Jesus. Jesus knew that the Father had put all things under His power, and that he had come from God and was returning to God; so He got up from the meal, took off His outer clothing and wrapped a towel around His waist. After that, He poured water into a basin and began to wash His disciples feet, drying them with the towel that was wrapped around Him."

"He came to Simon Peter, who said to Him, "Lord, are You going to wash my feet?" Jesus replied, "You do not realize now what I am doing, but later you will understand." "No," said peter, "You shall never wash my feet." Jesus answered, "Unless I wash you, you have no part with me." "Then ,Lord," Simon Peter replied, "not just my feet but my hands and my head as well!"

When He had finished washing their feet, He put on His clothes and returned to His place. "Do you understand what I have done for you?" he asked them. "You call me 'Teacher' and 'Lord,' and rightly so, for that is what I am. Now that I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also should wash one another's feet. I have set you and example that you should do as I have done for you. I tell you the truth, no servant is greater than his master, nor is a messenger greater than the one who sent him. Now that you know these things, you will be blessed if you do them."
During my last posting we discovered the importance of being a servant during these last days. We have also discovered that this task must be empowered by our most glorious Holy Spirit. These servant vessels are the ones which are found abiding in Jesus. Ones having a most intimate relationship with the Father which enables us to walk in great faith which worketh by love. Now since we know these things (and are walking in them) we will now adventure into the additions God has shown me which must be emphasized.
Did you notice that Jesus washed the feet and shared the task with no other? Sure we should be humble servants to God and man but the emphasis in this discourse offered by the Lord Jesus seems to be on the ability of receiving. Many people in the world, both saints and sinners, show service to others. But are we humble enough to receive blessings from others? Are we too proud such as Peter? The foot washing story seems to be pointing in the direction of the humility of being washed instead of the one doing the washing (giving). I must admit that in my own life I enjoy being a servant to others but have a harder time being blessed. The greater humility is in the receiving. It is easy to give. Agape (the God kind of love) gives and receives.
Yes, even God receives from us. He receives our love, obedience, worship, prayers etc. Yes, even the Creator receives from us. That is what love does. Jesus is truly a love affair between man and God. Both giving and receiving. Loving and sharing. Embracing and holding. Should our dealings with others be any less? Until next time, Kenny G. signing off.

AND NOW FOR THE REST OF THE STORY

Greetings, I pray that everyone had a most glorious Christmas. And a safe one at that. The following post was my Christmas message for 2008. I had not intended to post this message, but the Lord has added to it. This addition (specifically for these end times in which we live) will be posted tomorrow. So please stay tuned. Let us pray.."Oh Glorious Jesus, what wonderful things You have in store for those who love You. Help us to love You. Let this message be from You because I am not interested in what I have to say. Give us hearts to hear what the Spirit is saying to the Church. We want You. We need You. We love You. In Jesus, AMEN.

What did you come to see? Was it a mere babe born in a manger? Oh but much more than a babe. This after all was none other than God Himself come to earth to save us from His impending wrath. For you see, in that manger was the Lamb of God. The One who would ultimately take your place and my place where judgement of sin was concerned. Yes, Jesus (Son of God and Son of Man) would take upon Himself God's righteous judgment and wrath against sin. And Jesus would even go to hell in our place so we wouldn't have to. Now that is love. The God kind of love.

ONLY...BELIEVE. Sounds simple. But don't let that fool you. Even the demons believe that Jesus is the Son of God. Oh dear ones, those who are without God in you lives. Those who even now are being drawn to the Father. Ashamed of the heaviness of sin. Those who are afraid to trust their lives to the Holy God of all creation. Trust His love for you on Calvary. Trust Him that He alone has the power to forgive sin and release you from heaviness. Trust Him who alone has the power to send men to an eternal torment in hell. CRY OUT....Oh God have mercy. Wash me with the blood of Your dear Son. Come live in my heart. Fill me with the Holy Spirit that I may have the power to change into a holy vessel fit for Your use. Write my name in the Lamb's Book of Life. Have mercy on my soul. Spare me from Your soon coming, terrible, horrible wrath. DON'T BE AFRAID. READ ON. TIME IS TOO SHORT TO IGNORE THE THINGS OF GOD ANYMORE. YES..TOO SHORT TO IGNORE JESUS. Now is the day of salvation.

Why am I writing about such things? Why do I even write at all? Why does my wife and I spend much time on our knees concerned that only God's Words, and His Words alone, come forth in the very papers you hold in your hands? Why do we spend or time, money and energy about such things? How can we not. How can we not serve the One who came to serve us with His very own life! Besides, can you not hear? The prophet has spoken and continues to speak. The watchman continues to blow the trumpet of alarm. Repent for the Kingdom of God is near. The end of all things has come. Get ready for heaven or hell. Choose which master you will serve. IT'S GO TIME !! In Amos 3:7 we find that the Lord first speaks through the prophets His plans before they are revealed. LISTEN. In Ezekiel 33:9 we see that the watchman has blown the alarm about the impending return of Jesus, judgment now and His certain wrath to come. For the faithful watchman salvation but for the sinner who refuses to repent eternal death. Separated from God and all things good. How can we not pray and write about such things?

Are you ashamed of talking about Jesus? Then Jesus says He will deny you before the Father. Such a person has never been born again or he has fallen. Fallen so far from grace that the unforgivable sin is crouching at the door. Oh Body of Christ these are the ones we must serve, pray for and approach with such loving kindness. Lost Sheep are so hard to bring back but with God it is possible. Let me ask you this most kind sir or ma'am. Do you think that religious rituals, incantations or works really gain the attention of the most High God? Please consider that the only door between God and man in none other than Jesus Christ our Lord. Repentance, believing and obedience gains God's attention. Is there a doubt? Then pray. None of us know it all perfectly. But God will show us the Truth if we dare ask through His precious Holy Spirit. Don't let a hard head stand in the way of your eternal life.

AND NOW FOR THE REST OF THE STORY. Thought I forgot didn't you? First let me encourage you dear brethren, to reflect on the joyful expectation of our souls. Is it not the return of our Crowned King? Sure Jesus was born. Sure we also celebrate His resurrection. But what about His soon return? What should we be found doing when this great and most grand reunion takes place? Consider the Gospel of Mark. Mark 14:8,9 to be precise. "She did what she could. She poured perfume on my body beforehand to prepare for my burial. I tell you the truth, wherever the gospel is preached throughout the world, what she has done will also be told, in memory of her." What does this have to do with our posture during these last days. EVERYTHING. And why have we not heard more about these two events being tied together? The Gospel and the anointing of Jesus by Mary( Lazarus and Martha's sister). I don't know. But it's being told now.

Wouldn't you agree that the meat of the Gospel is God sending his only begotten Son to pay the ransom for our sins? The Love of God. His humility. His servant hood poured out to all mankind so none would perish if they would but believe. God Almighty giving His very best to purchase the salvation of man. Oh His very own precious Son I tell you. Now consider Mary of Bethany. Did she not do the very same? She gave something which was probably one of her most prized possessions. All gathered there knew immediately that someone had broken open some very costly perfume indeed. And did you see her as she unbraided her hair. As she stooped at the Master's tired, dusty feet. Oh the humility of it all. To wash feet was a servants job after all. The best she had. Given in humility. LOVING. SERVING.

This is to be our posture dear ones. Agape. The God kind of love. Covenant love. Serving one another is the highest order of all things holy. Not considering our own desires but those of another, namely God and man. Was not this the very command Jesus gave His disciples immediately after washing their feet? In John 13:35,36 we read the following: " A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another." WOW !! Did you see that? The world is watching us. Followers (imitators) of Christ should certainly be serving and loving one another. When people witness such a thing they are witnessing the very heart and soul of the Father in Christ Jesus. They will know that we are the disciples of Jesus. Now I am not talking about doing church work. Oh no, no, no. We are talking about the power of God's love flowing through a righteous man or woman. The power of compassion. The power of considering someone else above ourselves. Only true sons of God can exhibit such a trait. The world can spot a counterfeit.

So in closing we discover that throughout this long discourse (sorry about that) we find something very powerful but simple indeed. God's kind of Love. And as we soon find ourselves ( along with the rest of the world) in adverse circumstances Because the world is being judged around us, let us remember that those around us need God. They don't need someone else just like them. Someone selfish. Someone who is falling apart because their own little world is doing the same. NO ! They need to see the Glory of God. The miracle working, saving, loving power of Almighty God. And you know what? That power is going to flow through you and I. And I suspect it will be through those who are on their knees in prayer or on their knees serving someone other than themselves. Now that is super cool. In that manger was someone born to serve. Just like us.
God bless and check in tomorrow for the rest... of the rest of the story.

OH HOLY NIGHT

Twas the night before Christmas and all through the stable not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse. When all of a sudden there was a great roar sounding like thunder. A bright light shone, brighter than the sun. Quite a clamor. Mary lifted our baby Jesus to her bosom while I ventured outside to see what was the matter.

I couldn't believe my eyes and ears. The only thing I could remember was what I was taught in school. About Moses. How he was told to take off his shoes because where he was standing ( before the burning bush) was holy ground. Off with the sandals and on my knees because surely what was happening was from Jehovah God. Looking back briefly, I motioned for Mary to bring the baby out to experience this most holy moment with me. Something peculiar though as I glanced back. The animals all seemed as they were in a daze, but all gently nudging and straining to come too.

Oh the Glory of God's brightness and holiness was everywhere. Jehovah was all over us. Caressing, holding and filling us. The sound was ear splitting. Like thunder rolling I heard angels proclaiming that this birth was an event which would change the world forever. God's peace and love was born to us today. The angels were barely visible because of the brightness which shone this day. I wouldn't have seen them anyway, I was too busy trying to be as reverent as I possibly could.

When I dared to look up I was astonished because many had come to bow before our holy God which was visiting with us this day. The inn keeper and his family. The stable hands, guests of the inn, neighbors...they were all here bowing and worshiping. Kind of weird though because our most beautiful baby, Jesus, was smiling. Well, He should after all because this was His real daddy. Father God was showing Himself as a proud, jubilant parent. Boy, I am going to have such a cool life. Hey, here come some wise men with their large entourage. Man, look at all the gifts. I have nothing to present to this most holy child but my everlasting love and undivided care and attention. But that is a good thing.

OH HOLY NIGHT....OH HOLY NIGHT

COME AND I WILL SHOW YOU THE SUFFERING YET TO COME

How do we classify pain and suffering? Let us pray..." Most wonderful God, we come to You with thanksgiving in our heart for so much. Please help us to love You, serve you and represent You to a lost and dying world.Help us Oh God. We know nothing, can do nothing and are nothing without You. Open our eyes that we might understand what the Holy Spirit has to say about the sufferings of Jesus and the sufferings we must be washed in before The End. In Jesus sweet name we pray.....and all of God's people said...AMEN.

Who is the author of pain and discomfort? Where did it come from? Why God, why? These are some of the questions we may ask from time to time as our surrender to our Lord Jesus continues to grow and become stronger. As Christians we see suffering different than those of the world. Lovers of the world spend great fortunes protecting themselves from discomfort. They use words such as "bad luck" and "dealt a bad hand" when calamity strike. And sometimes they spend great energy going after the persons or things they think are responsible. Trying to make things right. Trying to protect their little world.

In God's Kingdom suffering may be a willing thing if we are carrying our cross. Or an unwilling thing if God chooses to chastise us over something that may be drawing us away from Him.

Maybe suffering will also come if we violate spiritual laws. The Word says God is not mocked. If we sow to the flesh then we will reap destruction. We may also open doors to demonic activity through certain sins such as rebellion. Regardless, God is always in control over the children whom He loves and gave His life for.

But there is a suffering we must all encounter before He calls us Home. It's called "the sufferings of Christ". Lets go back to the last supper if you will. Here we find Jesus pouring out His great love to the disciples. Taking them into the great mysteries of God if you will. The blood..the body. Jesus preparing them for His hour of suffering which was rejection (and in His case even unto death) because of the truth and character of God which He represented.

At that table sat an impostor. One whose heart was deceived with evil intentions. Judas sat and supped with our Lord. He listened to the truth. He witnessed the miracles first hand, yet his heart was twisted and did not receive. He chose to betray our Lord. Even on his way out the door to bring a death sentence to the world's saviour Jesus called him friend. The God kind of love even in the face of betrayal. The God kind of love even in the face of the most terrible of rejections. One from a friend.

This is the type of suffering which will come our way if we walk as we should. Not a physical cross that we carry, but a cross of self. What will self do when we are mocked, reviled, taken advantage of etc.

Oh dear brothers and sisters. Oh dear self...Kenny G. One morning soon we will wake up with the whole world in an uproar against anything and anyone holy. Will we choose to protect our flesh. Will we protect our Lord despite our flesh? Have a most blessed Christmas...Kenny G. signing off

YOU HAVE THE FAITH TO MOVE MOUNTAINS (if you Believe in God's Faithfulness)

My fellow humanoids..sorry I didn't leave a blog yesterday. Our Internet was down. So here we go..Almighty God, we humbly bow before You. You are surely higher than we are. Yet You have set your affection upon us as seen in Christ Jesus. Help us to have great faith. Mountain moving faith. And since faith works by love may you give us the grace to fall deeply, passionately in love with You, ourselves and others. In Jesus name..AMEN
Faith is not expecting God to answer our many petitions. If so then we will surely get frustrated and upset with ourselves (thinking we have little faith if unanswered) or even with God because His hand seems not to move.

But His hand does move !! We DO have faith..and it is great, great mountain moving faith if we dare to love and have the faith of Jesus.

The Word says that all men have a measure of faith (the ability to believe). Do we not trust the very chair we sit in to hold us properly? But we see that the believers faith is so much more. In fact without it we cannot please God (Romans 12:3; Hebrews 11:6).

For the believer, our journey of faith begins by hearing the Word. The proclamation of the good news of Jesus (Romans 10:14). But that living Word (and it is alive John 1) must continue to be sown in our hearts if we are to have faith(Romans 10:17).

Faith is simply this...hearing what God says. Believing it and speaking it.

But how can you believe someone if you don't know who they are? That is why we are told that faith works by love (Galatians 5:6). How do we trust this awesome God with whom we have to deal ? Spend time with God. In His Word and in prayer. This is how we will build confidence. We will come to know that God is not a liar and will reward them who diligently seek Him (Hebrews 11:6).

And as we grow more in love with God...the greater our ability to have faith. We will also grow in the love we give to others. Now we come to the ouch part. OBEDIENCE. Not as hard as you might think if we trust the Holy Spirit to kill the enemy who keeps us from full surrender. To help us kill the enemy which tries it's best to keep us from being quick to obey and to walk in the fear of the Lord. This enemy is none other than our own stinking , prideful, selfish and uncrucified flesh. Faith without works is dead. This means if God said it we do it. To love God is to obey God (James 2:17; John 14:15).

Very simple indeed. In fact Jesus said unless you become like a little child then you cannot enter the Kingdom (Mark 10:15). If a father puts his child on a ledge and says "jump and I will catch you," the child will obey because he knows and trusts his father. Can not we also trust our heavenly Father who gave His very own Son's life for our benefit?

Why must we get these foundational stones corrected and understood especially in these last days? Let me take you to two of the saddest verses in scripture. in Matthew 24:12 we discover that in the end times a very large portion of the Body's (church, believers) love will grow cold. Now we know that faith works by love. So that explains why in Luke 18:8 Jesus asks will He find faith in the earth when He returns. How sad.

Now we see why a study on love and faith are so important. Such things are required for a person born again of the Spirit. The just shall live by faith (Romans 1:17). This is not a simple belief that Jesus is the Son of God. Or a simple belief that God is good and everything will be OK. A thousand times NO because the devil believes. (James 2:19).

How important is this LIVING thing we call faith. Faith believes God's Word. Faith is believing and DOING God's Word. We often hear that there is nothing greater than the name of Jesus (Philippians 2:8-11). But there is something greater. God's Word (Psalms 138:2). With this knowledge how can we neglect the habitual eating of the Word? The eating of Jesus, our living Bread (John6:48-51; John6:63; John 1:1-3,14).

The Word is our handbook on how to live a holy life. It shows us who the Father is. Who the Son is. It encourages us. It gives us hope. It satisfies us (Ephesians 5:25-27). It reveals who we are in Christ. It changes our thinking. It is a weapon against satan (Romans 12:2; Luke 8:11-15). And please look up the following verses, and all scripture on your own. Good practice and it is life to your soul. (Luke 4:1-13; Ephesians 6:16,17). And how can we even understand the Word without the Holy Spirit? We cannot since what was written under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit must be interpreted by the Spirit(II Timothy 3:16,17). Ask God to fill you with the gift of His Spirit. Will even our earthly fathers give us a stone if we ask for bread? Our heavenly Father is even greater and will give all good things to those who dare ask.

Are we not to be called living epistles read of men (II Corinthians 3:3)? How can we represent the Father; how can we share the good news of the Gospel; how can we know the riches of God's new covenant with man which was sealed in the blood of His dear Son Jesus without eating of the living Word? The Word that helps us know the Father. And while we are getting to know Him our faith is increasing. Our ability to trust Him increases. Isn't it true that we trust those we KNOW?

So in closing let us spend time with our heavenly Father. Let us eat the living Word which is revealed to us by the Holy Spirit. And may we walk in love because without love we have not the ability to believe or trust this awesome God whom we must deal with. Again God continues to cry..please, oh please GET TO KNOW ME !!

May we truly be overcomers. May we all be ready at His coming. May we be found washed in His Blood. Loving God and man. Eating, meditating, doing and speaking His Word (Revelation 12:11). God bless. Kenny G. signing off.

THE FAITH BUNNY

Isn't it so cool how God sometimes makes us feel as if we are His favorite. Sure He loves us all equally..you know what I mean. That's just one of the many ways our Father God makes each and every one of His children feel as if we are in a love affair with Him. AND WE ARE..make no mistake about it.

God talks to us in so many ways. To name just a few...through His Word, our brothers and sisters, pastors, answered prayer, the small still voice of the Holy Spirit within and (for me anyway) through nature and circumstances. I believe that our Father loves to show off with His creation. Do you have a recurring instance in creation which God talks to you? I bet you do. I would like to share with you one of the many cool ways He has talked to me over the years. Of course,I won't tell you all because some connections between us and God should be kept secret. Those special ways God talks to you and I (and I mean those ways in which no one else shares in but you and God) make our journey so intimate.

Before I introduce you to Flospsy, let me backtrack to a point in time about a year and a half ago. There was a time when a certain bunny and I became close. She (I know it was a she now) would always come close to me when I was outside under the gazebo spending time with God. I would talk and sing to her. She especially enjoyed hearing songs in the Spirit. She would just sit and listen. This went on for about three months straight. I became quite close to her. One day she didn't show up. Then the next day no bunny. And on and on and on. Her absence crossed a span of about two months.

During this time I was especially missing her, my little friend. I would pray that God would protect her wherever she was. Provide for her and keep her healed. Of course, selfishly, I would also ask that she would come back to me. Months went by but I never forgot about her.

Then one day there she was. Oh boy, here come the tears. At that point I heard Daddy God speak to His Spirit within me. He said, " Son, I want you to know that I am interested in what you enjoy. I bring these things to you. Trust me with all your concerns, prayers and needs. I promise, I am attentive." This encouraged me a great deal to say the least. Most assuredly, since then Joan and I have had to trust Him for some real miracle working power about many things. He has always showed Himself strong and faithful on our behalf. Sometimes (most of the time) His timing was usually further down the road than we would have liked. But His way and timing always, always works out (and still does..until the Day of His Coming) better than we could have realized. To God be the Glory, great things He has done.

Shortly after that our neighbors beagle puppies were hunting up here on our property when I heard bunnies screaming. Many, many bunnies. Oh the sound they make when they are harmed or in danger. I went a running. Shooing the beagles away with one hand and picking up baby bunnies with the other. The mother was far gone, and at that point I wasn't sure if she had gotten killed. Our hound dog, Charity, also helped round up the bunnies. Gently pawing through the leaves when she smelled or heard one. They were about two-three weeks old. Five in all which were still alive, three more which didn't survive the attack.

Two passed away that night. So at that point we still had three thriving bunnies, all except for one. We called her Flopsy. Every time you would put her down she would try to walk and would just flop over on her side. The other two we named Nibbles and Cheyanne. The next night we put Flopsy in a box(without a lid) and placed her in our bathtub. We were praying for her. Really didn't think she would make it through the night because she no longer moved at all. The next morning we got up and peered into the tub. There was Flopsy peering back. Oh thank you Jesus.

We nursed them with a bottle and provided proper greens for about three weeks when (according to the experts) we let them go because when you let them down they would begin to run away. Boy was Charity jealous during those three weeks. What a joy to watch them grow. Even to this day they still hang around the wooded perimeter, close enough where we can still talk to them. You know what else? One morning I saw Nibbles and his mother. She had returned and was the very one whom I first had a relationship with. I watched as she would show Nibbles how to bend down reeds to eat. God is so awesome.

Oh Lord, we bow before You because You are God after all. But we praise You for the ways You communicated with us. I say this with all due respect Holy God, " You are supercool!" Please continue to help us hear you because You are always talking. We love you..In Jesus we pray..AMEN Until we meet again dear brothers and sisters, God bless you richly with His very presence.

THE LORD HIMSELF WILL ESTABLISH US AS TREES OF RIGHTEOUSNESS

Well good morning to you. And to you oh God we say that this is the day that you have made and we will rejoice and be glad in it. And dear Sir would YOU help us as we now pray...Mighty, Mighty God. Creator of all things seen and unseen we come before you with humble hearts. Hearts seeking Your mercy and grace. Hearts seeking You. You alone will satisfy us. Thank you for loving us so much as seen on the ole rugged cross. Your beloved Son redeeming us. Jesus, our hero and champion, thank you for being obedient to the Father. We love you Daddy God. Speak to us our wonderful Holy Spirit. Our teacher. Give us eyes to see and ears to hear what the Spirit has to say....In Jesus we pray..AMEN

You have heard it said that God calls those things at the end from the beginning. Throughout the scriptures He shows us things before they happen. It is no different concerning end time events. End times are the days, months and years leading up to the rapture (catching away) of the Church(all those who have made Jesus their Lord). Paul tells us in 2Timothy 3:1-4 that there will be terrible times in the last days. People will love themselves and their money. They will be boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, slanderous without any self control. They will be lovers of pleasure instead of lovers of God. Many will even pretend to be religious. They will look good on the outside but will not carry the power , life and anointing of God. He goes on to say in chapter 4:3,4 that men living in the last days will not put up with sound doctrines which lead to repentance and holiness. They will go from preacher to preacher trying to find a doctrine which suits them. One not too hard. One which doesn't demand anything from them especially obedience to God. Oh these churches are cropping up over night. Mega churches. Messages making us feel good about ourselves instead of leading us to repentance and surrender to a most Holy God. Please be careful out there!!

I believe that most people in the world today can sense that something is about to happen which will not be good. And they would be right. But the Glory is coming. Sure my greatest and most joyful expectation right now is for Lord Jesus to come and take me home to be with Him forever. But before that will come the greatest outpouring of Spirit upon all mankind..upon all the earth. Yes, one more opportunity to get our hearts right before the Great Tribulation and wrath of God which will come upon the whole earth right after the Bride (Church, Assembly of believers) is taken right on up to heaven.

Remember that 2Peter 3:8 says that a day with the Lord is like a thousand years. Many believe that this verse just means eternity has no boundaries. Not so !! The Lord means exactly what He says. He often times uses types, shadows, parables and numbers to represent to us things which are to come. This time is no different. Follow me here please, there is 4000 years between Adam and Jesus. Two thousand years (plus or minus according to the Jewish calender) from Jesus til now. That is 6000 years or 7 days to the Lord. God created the world in 6 days. On the 7th He rested. Most of you know these things, but for the benefit of those who don't I will try to describe the most basic of the subject at hand.

After the catching away of the Bride there will be 7 years of terrible, terrible agony, calamity and distress upon the earth as God's wrath is unleashed. After that Jesus will return and set up His Kingdom here on the earth for 1000 years. 1000 years of peace. So we have six days (6000 years) which God created and the time we have existed since Adam. Now God's day of rest ( the seventh day) also represents the millennial reign of Jesus. So, you can see that we are right at the door of this whole thing being wrapped up any minute now. Please get READY. There are so many such analogies in the scriptures concerning the 6 days and 6000 years. Of the 7th day and the 1000 year reign of Christ. Does the cross tell us something also? I think so. On the third day Jesus arose as the glorified One. There has already been two days (2000 years) since Jesus came down to planet earth. Shall we not also arise with Him on the third day? Folks it is the beginning of the third day NOW.

What does the Old Testament say? Remember most of the Old Testament is a type and shadow of things to come. In Exodus 19:10,11 we see that God told Moses to prepare and consecrate the people for two days and on the third day He would come down in the sight of all the people. Finally I get to talk now about the Glory. I guess a person can even get a little long winded on the keyboard.

I wish I could figure out how to indent on this blog site. Nevertheless, lets talk for a minute about the Glory (supernatural power of God, anointing, life giving force and even His Divine Presence). I am not a scholar on this subject by no means but there are many books out there if you care to go a little deeper. You have probably heard the Christian circles talk about the former and later rain. Rain usually refers to the Holy Spirit. In this case the downpour of the Holy Spirit (the Glory or anointing of God). Downpour like rain. Saturation. Filling. Covering. The Old Testament Joel talks about it in chapter 2. He (God) will give us the former or autumn rain in moderation. To Israel the autumn or former rain was rain which was sent right after planting. Joel goes on to say that there will be a time when both the former (autumn rain) and later rain (spring rain) will come at the same time. In Israel the spring rain fell right before harvest time.

Peter talked about this prophecy coming true in the book of Acts. Acts 2:14-21 to be more precise. Look with me would you. Here Peter quoted the prophet Joel and said this outpouring of the Holy Spirit which began in the Upper Room was now coming to pass. ITS HARVEST TIME. What do I mean? Right at the beginning of the third day (end of 2000 since Christ) God will appear to the whole world. He will do it through us who are Covenant children. We will be the arks of His covenant carrying about His Glory and power. But much more intense than even what we read the apostles doing in Supernatural power. We will have both the anointing of the initial outpouring combined with what God has in mind for the later rain. I am sure it will be intense. Super intense. Isn't it cool that God often uses farming analogies? Here we see rain associated with growing the seed (seed of God's Word being sown for 2000 years) and the rain which brings harvest (oh the harvest about to take place..OH WOW).

In Haggai 2:9 we discover that God says the Glory of the later house will be greater than the Glory of the former house. Here He is comparing the Church as the later house. We are a living house (tabernacle) not made with hands. The former and later rains. The Glory. The awesome power and life giving force of Almighty God. These things and much more will fill us and overflow to the world that all might see and know there is a God. You thought the Glory of Solomon's temple was cool. You thought the ark and David's tent of meeting was cool. You ain't seen nothing yet. May these words be from God and Him alone. To Him be all the Glory. Hey. Did you hear that? It sounds as if I heard a splatter of rain. I think it touched my heart. God Bless..Kenny G. signing off.

WHY COUNTDOWN TO GLORY?

Welcome ! Boy I hardly slept last night thinking about the commitment I had made to begin this part of God's journey for me. I tend to get like that when I have an appointment of any kind. Tried to muster up a message to no avail. God told me to spend time with the Lord of the message instead of the message of the Lord. So, on my knees, humbled before the Lord of Glory, I spent time with the Jesus whom I love. Now I can proclaim his Word with boldness.
Lets pray. Almighty God, we humble ourselves before You. We bow before You because You are much higher than us. You are God. Thank you for loving us. For sacrificing your Son for us. For choosing us. We love You and pray that Your sweet holy Spirit will give me Your Words to proclaim. And please give us all ( especially me) ears to hear what You are saying to us. Your Words bring Life. They bring healing, joy, hope, peace and everything good. Since we are in covenant with You, Your Name has been given to us to use. We have a right to come before You in Christ. So in Jesus we come...AMEN
Things in the world are surely spinning out of control. But we have rest because the lights of the world ( God's born again children) know that God is in control. His prophetic Words must come to pass. Jesus must return when the Father says. And Jesus will return for His Body while the world is deep in the darkness of sin. The Father says so. And we are certainly a nation and world full of evil and darkness. Selfishness seems to have invaded most men's hearts. Everyone has an agenda which seems to suit them. Always searching to fill that void in their hearts which only God can fill. The Word says that at the very end, before His Coming, the world will be likened unto the day of Sodom and Gomorrah. If ever an age comes close to that it is ours.
About 25 years ago I began to be drawn to the word anointing and unction in the Bible. After much study and prayer about this subject, the Holy Spirit showed me that this was the miracle, life giving power of God. And soon it would be released into the earth through His chosen vessels. His children. His Body. We are now the arks which carry His power. He calls this anointing Glory.A few years later a well known preacher/evangelist began to teach on the anointing and Glory of God which is to come. He still teaches about this subject even unto this day. But hearing him confirmed what God was trying to show me.
I will expound on this subject from time to time using scripture and prophetic utterances. For now let me give you a broad over view about the coming days. Hey I just got a real cool phone call. I am going to be a grandfather. Oh thank you Jesus. May he grow up strong in the Lord. Ok, back to our subject. There is a heaven and there is a hell. There is a God and there is a devil. God is holy and righteous. He is the One who judges all peoples and determines their eternal destiny. The devil ( a fallen angel who desires to be like God) is trying his best (along with his demons) to persuade as many people as he can to follow his example of self exhaultation. Their eternal destiny will be hell. A place of forever torment and separation from God and all things good. But God desires all would be saved and that none would perish. He has a plan.
Of course we know that all who believe in His Son Jesus for their cleansing of sin and justification are saved from the wrath to come. Those who have surrendered their life to King Jesus. Those who have truly made Him Lord. But dear ones, we are about to witness the greatest revival and outpouring of God's Glory (power and presence) like never before. Soon the world as we know it will be changed suddenly. Men's hearts will fail them because of fear as they struggle to save the little kingdoms they have set up for themselves.
Soon Jesus will be coming for His Bride(those dedicated to Him and Him alone) but before that we shall all taste of the tribulation and wrath of God to come. We who are hidden in Christ rejoice because we see the present judgement on this nation and world as a prelude for the coming of our King Jesus. Meanwhile (now) the Holy Spirit is cleaning us up. Santifying us. Making us vessels of honor for the outpouring of the Glory which is coming. I mean the type of power which rests upon a righteous one and as he/she goes even through the door of a hospital all will be healed. Soon even those coming close to the arks of God's Glory will fall on their knees before the very humbling presence of God. Oh the joy of it all. Oh Lord may we all be in position to know that we know we are Yours. Dear friends, I will expound on this subject a little more tomorrow, bringing you scriptures to verify the things we are talking about. God Bless. Kenny G. signing off AMEN
